It seems as if the tightening economy is forcing businesses to look hard at their marketing budgets for savings. We think this is always a good thing. It's very easy to be wasteful with traditional marketing, mostly because it is tricky to measure. Smaller budgets force people to get their calculators out to see what they can save. And once they have a calculator in their hand, they start to appreciate more measurable marketing channels.

Most agencies really want to work with bigger clients. Like Nike, or Vodaphone, or Sainsbury's or some such household brand that sounds good bantered around the dinner party table. They work away on the smaller accounts and dream away of the big ones.
So what keeps us so excited about small and mid-size businesses?
